HomeMy WebLinkAbout1987-126-09/15/1987-AGREEMENT CROSSING IMPROVEMENTS EAST HORSETOOTH ROAD RIGHT OF WAY UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY RESOLUTION 87- 126 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY FOR CROSSING IMPROVEMENTS AND RIGHT-OF-WAY ON EAST HORSETOOTH ROAD WHEREAS, the Union Pacific Railroad Company has tendered to the City of Fort Collins, a municipal corporation of the State of Colorado, a contract concerning installation of automatic flashing light signals and gates, at Mile Post 20.62, crossing East Horsetooth Road, in Fort Collins, Colorado; and WHEREAS, it is considered that the best interests of the City will be subserved by the acceptance of said agreement. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS as follows: Section 1 . That the terms of the agreement submitted by the Union Pacific Railroad Company as aforesaid are accepted in behalf of the City. Section 2. That the Mayor be, and hereby is, authorized, empowered and directed to execute said agreement on behalf of the City, and that the City Clerk be, and hereby is, authorized and directed to attest said agreement and to attach to each duplicate original of said agreement a certified copy of this resolution. Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of Fort Collins held this 15th day of September, A.D. 1987. Assistant Mayor ATTEST City Clerk
