OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE EXTENSION OF A UNION PACIFIC
RAILROAD COMPANY LICENSE FOR AN
UNDERGROUND POWER LINE ENCROACHMENT AND CROSSING
WHEREAS, Union Pacific Railroad Company (hereinafter called the
"Railroad Company") has tendered to the City of Fort Collins, State of
Colorado (hereinafter called the "City") documentation extending the term
of that certain license for an underground power line encroachment and
crossing at Fort Collins, Colorado, identified in the Railroad Company's
records as Audit No. A-102561 ; and
WHEREAS, it is considered that the best interests of the City will be
subserved by the acceptance of said extension.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS as follows:
Section 1 . That the terms of the extension agreement submitted by the
Railroad Company as aforesaid be, and the same are hereby, accepted on
behalf of the City.
Section 2. That the Mayor of the City is hereby authorized, empowered
and directed to execute said extension agreement on behalf of the City, and
that the City Clerk of the City is hereby authorized and directed to attest
to said extension agreement and to attach to each duplicate original of
said extension agreement a certified copy of this Resolution.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins held this 1st day of September, A.D. 1987.
