OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A
PIPELINE CROSSING AGREEMENT WITH
THE UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY
WHEREAS, the Union Pacific Railroad Company (the "Railroad") has
tendered to the City a license for an underground pipeline at mile post
24.12 in the City of Fort Collins, identified in the Railroad Company's
records as Audit No. 255-47; and
WHEREAS, said license would allow a new pipeline crossing near
Wastewater Plant #1 which will provide improved water service to that plant
and the surrounding area; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the citizens of the City of
Fort Collins that said license be accepted by the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the Mayor be, and he hereby is, authorized to execute Pipeline
Crossing Agreement #255-47 with the Union Pacific Railroad Company for the
purpose of constructing a new pipeline crossing at mile post #24. 12. Said
agreement will extend for an indefinite period of time and shall be
accompanied by a one-time licensing fee of Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars
($250. ) .
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins held this 20th day of January, A.D. 1987.
