OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
STATING THE INTENT OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
TO ANNEX CERTAIN PROPERTY AND
INITIATING ANNEXATION PROCEEDINGS FOR SUCH PROPERTY
TO BE KNOWN AS THE ALBRECHT ANNEXATION
WHEREAS, the property hereinafter described has, for a period of not
less than three (3) years prior to this date, been completely contained
within the boundaries of the City of Fort Collins; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins has determined that
it is in the best interests of the citizens of the City to annex said area
to the City, as required by the terms of the Intergovernmental Agreement
between the City and Larimer County, Colorado, dated August 3, 1983; and
WHEREAS, the Council desires to initiate annexation proceedings in
accordance with law.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS as follows:
Section 1 . That, if the Council of the City of Fort Collins finds and
determines that the proposed annexation complies with the provisions of
state law, the Council intends to annex the following described property,
to be known as the Albrecht Annexation, situate in the County of Larimer,
State of Colorado, to wit:
A tract of land situated in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 33,
Township 8 North, Range 68 West, of the 6th P.M. , County of
Larimer, State of Colorado, being more particularly described as
follows:
Considering the West line of Northwest 1/4 of said Section 33 as
bearing S 00035'40" E and with all bearings contained herein
relative thereto:
Commencing at the Northwest corner of said Section 33; thence
S 00°35'40" E 823.13 feet along the West line of the Northwest
1/4 of said Section 33; thence N 89°24'20" E 30.00 feet to the
true point of beginning; thence S 35°00'40" E 64.22 feet; thence
S 29°56'40" E 114.42 feet; thence S 14°22'40" E 95.50 feet;
thence S 02034140" E 16.92 feet; thence S 89024'20" W 115.72
feet; thence N 00035'40" W262.37 feet to the true point of
beginning.
The above described tract of land contains .4351 acre more or
less.
Section 2. That the Council of the City of Fort Collins hereby
initiates annexation proceedings for the above described property.
Section 3. That the Notice attached hereto be adopted as a part of
this Resolution. Said Notice establishes the date, time and place when a
hearing will be held regarding the passage of an annexation ordinance
pertaining to the above described property. The City Clerk is directed to
publish a copy of this Resolution and said Notice as provided in Section
31-12-108 (2) , C.R.S.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins held this 1st day of September, A.D. 1987.

NOTICE
TO ALL PERSONS INTERESTED:
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the City Council of the City of Fort Collins
has adopted a Resolution initiating annexation proceedings for the Albrecht
Annexation, said Annexation being more particularly described in said
Resolution, a copy of which precedes this Notice.
That, on October 6, 1987, at the hour of 6:30 p.m. , or as soon
thereafter as the matter may come on for hearing in the Council Chambers in
the City Hall , 300 Laporte Avenue, Fort Collins, Colorado, the Fort Collins
City Council will hold a hearing for the purpose of finding and determining
whether the property proposed to be annexed meets the applicable
requirements of Colorado law and is considered eligible for annexation.
