OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
UTILITY EASEMENT IN FAVOR OF
PUBLIC SERVICE COMPANY FOR GAS LINES
AT THE FORT COLLINS-LOVELAND AIRPORT
WHEREAS, the Cities of Fort Collins and Loveland own property known as
the Fort Collins-Loveland Airport; and
WHEREAS, the Cities of Fort Collins and Loveland have developed
certain portions of the airport property for commercial purposes; and
WHEREAS, the Cities of Fort Collins and Loveland desire to have the
Public Service Company of Colorado furnish utilities to that developed
portion of the Fort Collins-Loveland Airport which is named Barnstorm
Second Addition - Tract B; and
WHEREAS, the dedication of the proposed easements to the Public
Service Company will provide for low-cost natural gas service to the
Airport, which will aid in the development of the area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the Mayor be, and hereby is, authorized to grant easements to
the Public Service Company of Colorado for the installation of underground
natural gas service to the Fort Collins-Loveland Airport and to the
developed area known as the Barnstorm Second Addition - Tract B.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins held this 4th day of August, A.D. 1987.
