OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
FINDING SUBSTANTIAL COMPLIANCE AND
INITIATING ANNEXATION PROCEEDINGS FOR THE
OVERLAND HILLS ANNEXATION
WHEREAS, a written petition, together with four (4) prints of an
annexation map, was heretofore filed with the City Clerk requesting the
annexation of certain property more particularly described as situate in
the County of Larimer, State of Colorado, to wit:
A tract of land situate in the South 1/2 of the South 1/2 of
Section 28 and in the North 1/2 of the North 1/2 of Section 33
and in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 34, all in Township 7 North,
Range 69 West of the Sixth P.M. , Larimer County, Colorado, which
considering the North line of the Northwest 1/4 of said Section
34 as bearing S 89*43' E and with all bearings contained herein
relative thereto is contained within the boundary lines which
begin at the North 1/4 corner of said Section 34 and run thence
S 00°01'30" E 30.00 feet; thence N 89*43' W 2640.96 feet to a
point on the West line of the Northwest 1/4 of said Section 34;
thence S 89°16'29" W 1320.63 feet; thence S 00°16'03" W 20.00
feet; thence S 89°16'29" W 715.00 feet; thence N 00°16'03" E
20.00 feet; thence S 89°16'29" W 605.61 feet to a point on the
East line of the Northwest 1/4 of said Section 33; thence
S 00023'36" W 1296.00 feet to the Southeast corner of the North
1/2 of the Northwest 1/4 of said Section 33; thence S 89016'36" W
2617.58 feet to the Southwest corner of the North 1/2 of the
Northwest 1/4 of said Section 33; thence N 00°15'38" W 1316.60
feet to the Northwest corner of said Section 33; thence
N 89004'36" E 1316.35 feet; thence N 00003'50" E 30.00 feet;
thence N 89°04'36" E 1316.52 feet; thence N 89 16'29" E 660.43
feet; thence S 00010'05"W 30.00 feet to a point on the North line
of said Section 33; thence along said North line N 89°16'29" E
1980.65 feet to the Northeast corner of said Section 33; thence
along the North line of said Section 34 S 89043' E 2640.89 feet
to the point of beginning, EXCEPT that tract of land which begins
at a point which bears S 00°23'36"" W 1102.60 feet and again
S 89016'36" W 194.00 feet from the North 1/4 corner of said
Section 33 and run thence S 88036'36" W 332.00 feet; thence
N 06'03'36" E 272.42 feet; thence N 30057124"W 71.78 feet; thence
S 87025'24" E 335.24 feet; thence S 04036'36" W 165.98 feet;
thence N 88*36136" E 30.17 feet; thence S 04°36'36" W 145.00 feet
to the point of beginning. The above described tract contains
82.6325 acres, more or less, exclusive of the 2.3132 acre
exception.
to the City of Fort Collins, Colorado; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to initiate annexation proceedings
in accordance with law.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS:
Section 1. That the City Council hereby accepts said annexation
petition, finds and determines that the annexation petition and
accompanying map are in substantial compliance with Section 31-12-107,
C.R.S. , and desires to initiate annexation proceedings in accordance with
law.
Section 2. That the Notice attached hereto be adopted as a part of
this Resolution. Said Notice establishes the date, time and place when a
public hearing will be held regarding the passage of an annexation
ordinance pertaining to the above described property. The City Clerk is
directed to publish a copy of this Resolution and said Notice as provided
in Section 31-12-108 (2) , C.R.S.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins held this 4th day of August, A.D. 1987.

NOTICE
TO ALL PERSONS INTERESTED:
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the City Council of the City of Fort Collins
has adopted a Resolution initiating annexation proceedings for the Overland
Hills Annexation, said Annexation being more particularly described in said
Resolution, a copy of which precedes this Notice.
That, on September 15, 1987, at the hour of 6:30 p.m. , or as soon
thereafter as the matter may come on for hearing in the Council Chambers in
the City Hall , 300 Laporte Avenue, Fort Collins, Colorado, the Fort Collins
City Council will hold a public hearing upon the annexation petition for
the purpose of finding and determining whether the property proposed to be
annexed meets the applicable requirements of Colorado law and is considered
eligible for annexation. At such hearing, any persons may appear and
present such evidence as they may desire. This meeting is fully accessible
to the handicapped.
