HomeMy WebLinkAbout1987-100-07/21/1987-AGREEMENT IMS INFRASTRUCTURE MANAGEMENT PAVEMENT MANAGEMENT PROGRAM PROFESSIONAL SERVICES RESOLUTION 87-100 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH IMS INFRASTRUCTURE MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF A PAVEMENT MANAGEMENT PROGRAM WHEREAS, the 1987 Street Maintenance Program for the City of Fort Collins includes a budget of $ 150 , 000 for the development of a comprehensive Pavement Management Program; and WHEREAS, in compliance with the Capital Project Management Control System, Requests for Proposal/Qualifications (P-183) were released to solicit consultants for the professional services required for the development of said Pavement Management Program; and WHEREAS, the consultant selection committee reviewed the proposals and interview the top five firms and selected IMS Infrastructure Management Systems as the best qualified firm for this project; and WHEREAS, staff has negotiated a time and reimbursable direct cost agreement with IMS Infrastructure Management Systems for a sum not to exceed One Hundred Twenty Nine Thousand Dollars ($129,000) ; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2-66 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins, no professional services agreement in excess of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000) shall be entered into until approved by the City Council in an open Council meeting. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS, that the City Manager be, and he hereby is, authorized to enter into a Professional Services Agreement with IMS Infrastructure Management Services for the development of a Pavement Management Program for a sum not to exceed One Hundred Twenty Nine Thousand Dollars ($129,000) .
