OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
A CONSENT AGREEMENT
FOR AIRPORT ANNEXATION BY LOVELAND
WHEREAS, the City of Loveland has proposed to annex the area of the
Fort Collins-Loveland Airport to the City of Loveland; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Colorado law, the City of Fort Collins must give
its consent prior to such annexation; and
WHEREAS, the annexation of the Fort Collins-Loveland Airport to the
City of Loveland will allow Loveland to provide electrical service to the
Airport at a lower cost than is currently provided; and
WHEREAS, upon annexation, Loveland will provide to the Airport other
valuable municipal services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the City Manager be, and he hereby is, authorized to execute a
Consent Agreement whereby the Fort Collins-Loveland Airport is annexed to
the City of Loveland, Colorado, pursuant to the annexation statutes of the
State of Colorado.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins held this 20th day of May, A.D. 1986.
