HomeMy WebLinkAbout1986-097-06/03/1986-GRANTING PERMISSION TO FORTTOWN TO PLACE PLAQUES ON THE ENTRYWAY WALLS OF OAK STREET PLAZA RESOLUTION 86- 97 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS GRANTING PERMISSION TO FORTTOWN TO PLACE PLAQUES ON THE ENTRYWAY WALLS OF OAK STREET PLAZA WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins has been petitioned to allow FortTown (The Downtown Business Association) to place plaques on the north side of the north entrance walls of Oak Street Plaza; and WHEREAS, the purpose of these plaques is to honor persons who have made significant contributions to Downtown Fort Collins; and WHEREAS, the size of the plaques will be 10" wide and 8" high and shall be installed not more frequently than once each year with the exception of the first year when two individuals will be honored; and WHEREAS, the granting of this request will in no way injure the rights of the residents of the citizens of the City of Fort Collins. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS that FortTown (The Downtown Business Association) be, and it hereby is, authorized to place plaques on the north wall of the north entryway of Oak Street Plaza, which plaques shall be no larger than ten inches (10") wide and eight inches (8") high and which shall be installed not more frequently than once each year with the exception of the first year when two plaques will be placed. Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of Fort Collins held this 3rd day of June, A.D. 1986. Mayor ATTEST: City Clerk
