RESOLUTION 85-162
OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
ADOPTING THE 1986-1990 TRANSPORTATION DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Urban Mass Transportation Act of 1964, as
amended, the City of Fort Collins is required to adopt a comprehensive
program for the development and extension of mass transit programs; and
WHEREAS, in order to remain eligible to receive federal funding
assistance, the City is required to have a comprehensive five-year plan for
its transit system; and
WHEREAS, in compliance with the Urban Mass Transportation Act
requirements the City of Fort Collins has created a Transportation
Development Program for the period 1986 and 1990; and
WHEREAS, it is intended that this document serve as a planning
document and, as such, should be considered as being conceptual and subject
to amendment as conditions change; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins has determined that
this plan best addresses the transportation needs and concerns of the City
of Fort Collins.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the Transportation Development Program for 1986-1990 be, and
it hereby is, adopted.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held this
1st day of October, A.D. 1985.
