OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO
A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH
ENGINEERING DESIGN AND MANAGEMENT, INC.
OF ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI, FOR A
BUILDING SUFFICIENCY STUDY
WHEREAS, the 1985 budget includes funding for a building sufficiency
study for all City buildings; and
WHEREAS, in October of 1984, the City' s Purchasing Department released
Request for Proposal/Qualifications (P-97) to solicit consultants to
undertake this study; and
WHEREAS, City staff interviewed five firms who responded to Proposal
P-97 and selected Engineering Design and Management, Inc, of St. Louis,
Missouri as the firm most qualified with the budget to perform the work;
and
WHEREAS, the Professional Services Agreement with Engineering Design
and Management, Inc, projected cost is Thirty-Four Thousand Three Hundred
and Fifty-Seven Dollars ($34,357) ; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2-66 of the Code of the City of Fort
Collins, no professional services agreement in excess of Twenty Thousand
Dollars ($20,000) shall be entered into until approved by the City Council
in an open Council meeting.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the City Manager be, and he hereby is, authorized to enter
into a Professional Services Agreement with Engineering Design and Manage-
ment, Inc. for a building sufficiency study , said services to cost a
projected Thirty-Four Thousand Three Hundred and Fifty-Seven Dollars
($34,357) .
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins held this 15th day of January, A.D�.�1985.
