OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
MAKING FINDINGS REGARDING RENAISSANCE CENTER
PRELIMINARY PLAN
WHEREAS, on the 19th day of December, 1984, the Planning and Zoning
Board of the City of Fort Collins approved a Preliminary Plan of the
Renaissance Center PUD; and
WHEREAS, the decision of the Planning and Zoning Board was appealed to
the City Council ; and
WHEREAS, the City Council met on the 12th day of February, 1985, and
considered the appeal of the Renaissance Center PUD Preliminary Plan;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council , after reviewing the evidence presented,
including record on appeal , the comments and presentations by the owner of
the development and the residents of the neighborhood, concluded that it
was appropriate to approve the Preliminary Plan under certain terms and
conditions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS as follows:
1. The Renaissance Center PUD Preliminary Plan is approved subject to
the following modifications:
A. The total number of units shall be reduced to ninety-seven
(97), which shall be comprised of four (4) , twenty-four (24) unit
buildings no larger in foorprint (120 ft. x 60 ft. ) or height (two
story on the end portions and three story in the central portion ) than
the twenty-four (24) unit building which was presented on the Prelim-
inary Plan, reviewed by Council ; also including one (1) manager's unit
in the club house.
B. All fireplaces shall be deleted from the plan or shall be
limited to a natural gas type of fireplace unit throughout the pro-
ject; and
C. Parking spaces underneath the building as shown on the
Preliminary Plan shall be fully enclosed with garage doors.
2. The Developer has consented and it shall be a condition of ap-
proval of the Preliminary Plan that all first floor units in all buildings
shall be adaptable to handicapped persons for residency purposes .
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held this .
