OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
EXPRESSING GRATITUDE AND APPRECIATION TO
BILL ELLIOTT FOR HIS CONTRIBUTIONS
TO THE COMMUNITY AS COUNCILMEMBER
WHEREAS, Bill Elliott was elected as a Councilmember representing
Council District No. 3 on April 7, 1981 and took office on April 14, 1981 ;
and
WHEREAS, during his tenure as a Councilmember, Mr. Elliott served on
the Board of Directors of the Poudre Fire Authority, on the Ethics Commit-
tee and in many other committee assignments; and
WHEREAS, during his term in office, the City has seen great growth and
change and Bill Elliott was called upon to devote substantial time and
energy to the affairs of the City of Fort Collins; and
WHEREAS, the people of the City have benefited greatly from the
services, counsel , and guidance of the said Bill Elliott.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the City Council express, on behalf of the residents of the
community , its formal and sincere appreciation and gratitude to Bill
Elliott for his devotion and attention to the affairs of the City as
Councilmember during his tenure from 1981 until 1985.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held this
19th day of March, A.D. 1985.
