OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS

FUTURE COMMUNITY CENTERS
IN THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
WHEREAS, the RECAP Committee determined that neighborhood centers were
an enhancement to the City of Fort Collins but were in the "Desirable"

community centers , in addition to a sound Northside Aztlan Community
Center, to be located in the southwest and southeast sections of Fort
Collins; and
WHEREAS, the strong Senior Citizen program which already exists in
Fort Collins indicates the need for a new Senior Citizens Center; and
WHEREAS, it is appropriate to consider expanding the Northside Aztlan
Center to reflect our continuing commitment to the Northside community; and

increased funding for exceptional public facilities; and
WHEREAS, a complete system of community centers would serve the
current and future publics of the community and contribute to the high
quality of life; and
