HomeMy WebLinkAbout1989-029-02/07/1989-AUTHORIZING THE PURPOSE OF REAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT 200 JOHNSON DRIVE MAWHINNEY-JOHNSON FROM RICHARD RESOLUTION 89-29 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF REAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT 200 JOHNSON DRIVE MAWHINNEY-JOHNSON (MOBILE HOME PARK) FROM RICHARD AND DOLORES GUTIERREZ WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins has negotiated the terms and conditions for purchase of approximately 2.1920 acres of property known as Mawhinney-Johnson Mobile Home Park at 200 Johnson Drive, Fort Collins, with the owners, Richard and Dolores Gutierrez; and WHEREAS, the purchase of Mawhinney-Johnson Mobile Home Park is a component of the revised Spring Creek Master Plan, adopted in Ordinance No. 123, 1988; and WHEREAS, this property will be used by the City for certain storm drainage improvements in connection with the Spring Creek Master Plan; and WHEREAS, this property has been appraised by a qualified appraiser and the purchase price of Four Hundred Seventeen Thousand Dollars ($417,000) reflects negotiations based on the appraisal and other factors, including the price paid by the owners; and WHEREAS, the Council has determined that this is a reasonable purchase price. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS that the City Manager be and he hereby is authorized to execute all documents as may be necessary to purchase that certain property located at 200 Johnson Drive consisting of a Mawhinney-Johnson Mobile Home Park and approximately 2. 1920 acres for a purchase price of Four Hundred Seventeen Thousand Dollars ($417,000.00) .
