OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH
THE STATE OF COLORADO FOR THE RECEIPT OF FEDERAL AID TO
URBAN SYSTEMS (FAUS) FOR THE PURPOSE OF OPERATING
A RIDESHARING PROGRAM (COMMUTER POOL) .
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins operates a ridesharing program for
the residents of both the city and northern Colorado; and
WHEREAS, Federal Aid to Urban Systems funds are available for the
purpose of operating ridesharing programs; and
WHEREAS, the additional funds will enable the City to expand the
services offered by its rideshare program; and
WHEREAS, there are no additional City funds required.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the Mayor be, and hereby is, authorized to enter into a
contract with the State of Colorado for the purpose of providing
ridesharing services for residents of the City;
