OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
EXCUSING THE ABSENCES OF COUNCILMEMBER FROMME
FROM PAST COUNCIL MEETINGS
WHEREAS, under Article II, Section 18, of the City Charter, if a
Councilmember fails to attend meetings of the Council for 60 days, a vacancy is
considered to exist in the office held by such Councilmember, unless such failure
to attend meetings is excused by resolution of the Council ; and
WHEREAS, due to illness, Councilmember Cathy Fromme has been unable to
attend meetings of the Council since September 17, 1991 ; and
WHEREAS, under these circumstances, the Council is desirous of excusing
such absences.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
as follows:
Section 1 . That all absences of Councilmember Fromme from meetings of the
Council prior to this date are hereby excused by the Council , in view of the fact
that such absences have been occasioned by illness and the need for extensive
medical treatment.
Section 2. That the sixty (60) day period referred to in Article II,
Section 18, of the City Charter shall begin anew as of November 19, 1991 .
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of Fort
Collins held this 5th day of November, A.D. 1991 .
