OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE ADOPTION OF RULES AND
REGULATIONS FOR THE FORT COLLINS-
LOVELAND MUNICIPAL AIRPORT
WHEREAS, the Cities of Fort Collins and Loveland jointly own the Fort
Collins-Loveland Municipal Airport; and
WHEREAS, Section 41-4-204, C.R.S. , authorizes the adoption of rules and
regulations covering the use of the airport and facilities located thereon; and
WHEREAS, the adoption of such rules and regulations is necessary to promote
the safe and efficient operation of the airport and its facilities; and
WHEREAS, the Airport Manager is a person chosen on the basis of experience
and expertise in the operation and management of airports.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
as follows:
Section 1. That the Airport Manager be and is hereby authorized and
empowered to promulgate such rules and regulations for the management of the Fort
Collins-Loveland Municipal Airport and its facilities as, in the Airport
Manager's discretion, may be necessary to promote the safe and efficient
operation of the airport and its facilities, and to amend the same from time to
time.
Section 2. That such rules and regulations, and all amendments thereto,
shall be subject to the approval of the City Managers of the cities of Fort
Collins and Loveland.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of Fort
Collins held this 1st day of October, A.D. 1991 .
