HomeMy WebLinkAbout1991-123-09/17/1991-AMENDMENT DAY CARE IGA LARIMER COUNTY SOCIAL SERVICES RESOLUTION 91-123 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN AMENDMENT TO THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH LARIMER COUNTY FOR THE PROVISION OF SOCIAL SERVICES IN 1991 WHEREAS, the Council has determined that it is in the best interests of the citizens of the City that additional funding in the amount of $15,385.00 be made available for the public purpose of providing more affordable day care for children in the community; and WHEREAS, the sum of $15,385.00 was appropriated in the 1991 budget from the General Fund for "other social service projects" ; and WHEREAS, the existing intergovernmental agreement between the City and Larimer County provides for the distribution of funds for certain social services and includes allocations to Respite Care, the Sunshine School , United Day Care and the Women's Center, which organizations were selected through the selection criteria and process developed by Larimer County's Human Resource Committee. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS that the Mayor is authorized to enter into an amendment to the intergovernmental agreement with Larimer County for the provision of social services in 1991 for the provision of an additional Fifteen Thousand Three Hundred Eighty-five Dollars ($15,385.00) to Larimer County, which funds shall be allocated by Larimer County to Respite Care, Sunshine School , United Day Care and the Women's Center for the purpose of providing more affordable child care assistance to children in the Fort Collins community. Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of Fort Collins held this 17th day of September, A.D. 1991 . Mayor ATTEST: City Clerk
