OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
DISSOLVING THE ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY
ADVISORY COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins ("Council ") , by Resolution
87-125, created the Economic Opportunity Advisory Committee ("Committee") ; and
WHEREAS, the Committee has worked to successfully implement the reviewing
of proposals and awarding of grants in accordance with Council 's direction; and
WHEREAS, the Committee is now recommending that its responsibilities be
assumed by the Fort Collins Area Foundation; and
WHEREAS, as a result, the Council has concluded that the Committee has
fulfilled the purposes for which it was created; and
WHEREAS, the individual members of the Committee will be afforded the
opportunity to continue to participate in the ongoing program as administered
by the Fort Collins Area Foundation; and
WHEREAS, Council desires to dissolve the Committee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
that the Economic Opportunity Advisory Committee, as created by Resolution 87-
125 of the Council of the City of Fort Collins, is hereby dissolved.
Passed and adopted at the regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins held this 15th day of January, A.D. 1991 .
