OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE REPLACEMENT OF
THE FORT COLLINS COMMUNITY POOL
WHEREAS, the registered electors of the City have approved the use of a
portion of the Choices 95 sales tax revenues for renovation or replacement of
the Fort Collins Community Pool at 424 South Sherwood Street (the "Community
Pool ") ; and
WHEREAS, an engineering study has been conducted on the feasibility of
renovating the Community Pool ; and
WHEREAS, the foregoing study has indicated that renovation of the Community
Pool would not be in the best interest of the City and that replacement of the
same would be preferable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
that the Fort Collins Community Pool be replaced and that staff prepare options
for design, location, and operation of a new community pool for the Council 's
consideration by July 1, 1991 .
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of Fort
Collins held this 19th day of March, A.D. 1991 .
