OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASING AGENT TO ENTER INTO A
CONTRACT WITH GEORGE K. BAUM AND COMPANY/DAVIS, GRAHAM & STUBBS
TO PROVIDE AN INDEPENDENT REVIEW OF CITY
SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT POLICIES & PROCEDURES
WHEREAS, the City Council has previously determined that an
independent review of the City's special improvement district policies and
procedures should be undertaken; and
WHEREAS, on January 26, 1988, the City Purchasing Agent issued a
Request for Proposal for the purpose of contracting with a qualified firm
to perform that independent review; and
WHEREAS, fourteen proposals were received and evaluated by City staff
members, and those evaluations were presented to the members of the Council
Finance Committee; and
WHEREAS, the Council Finance Committee further reviewed said proposals
and selected George K. Baum and Company/Davis, Graham & Stubbs as the best
qualified firm for this project; and
WHEREAS, the fee to be charged for the scope of services will not
exceed Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($15,000) .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the Purchasing Agent be, and he hereby is, authorized to enter
into a Professional Services Agreement with George K . Baum and
Company/Davis, Graham & Stubbs for the review of City special improvement
district policies and procedures for a sum not to exceed Fifteen Thousand
Dollars ($15,000) .
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins held this 15th day of March, A.D. 1988.
