OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH ALLEN,
GIBBS, & HOULIK TO PROVIDE AN INDEPENDENT REVIEW
AND ANALYSIS OF THE CITY'S SID POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins has determi d it to
be in the best interests of the citizens of Fort Collin that an
independent review and analysis be conducted of the Cit s special
improvement district ("SID") policies and procedures; and
WHEREAS, the accounting firm of Allen, Gibbs, & Houlik is available to
perform such review and analysis within the timeframe a ablished by the
Council for a fee of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000) lus out-of-pocket
expenses; and
WHEREAS, monies are available in the City Man er's contingency fund
to pay the proposed fee; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 8-129 of th Code of the City of Fort
Collins, no professional services agreement excess of Twenty Thousand
Dollars ($20,000) shall be entered into unti approved by the City Council
in an open Council meeting.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the City Manager be, an he hereby is, authorized to enter
into a professional services agreeme with Allen, Gibbs, & Houlik for the
independent review and analysis of he City's special improvement district
policies and procedures at a st not to exceed TWENTY-FIVE THOUSAND
DOLLARS ($25,000) .
Passed and adopted at regular meeting of the City Council held this
