OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF REAL PROPERTY
LOCATED AT 624 NORTH WOOD STREET FROM THE
ESTATE OF JESSIE M. HART
WHEREAS, the City has entered into a Sales/Purchase Agreement with the
Estate of Jessie M. Hart (said Agreement contingent upon City Council
approval ) for the purchase of approximately seventeen thousand six hundred
(17,600) square feet of property immediately south of the Wood Street
Service Center and adjacent to the Burlington Northern Railroad
Right-of-Way which was approved for acquisition by City Council Resolution
88-156; and
WHEREAS, said property is desirable for integration into the planned
expansion of the City's Utility Service Center Facility; and
WHEREAS, the purchase price of Thirty-one Thousand Seven Hundred
Dollars ($31,700.00) is hereby determined by the Council to be reflective
of the fair market value of the property based upon the findings of a
qualified appraiser.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the City Manager be and he hereby is authorized to purchase
that certain property located at 624 North Wood Street, consisting of a
small structure and approximately seventeen thousand six hundred (17,600)
square feet of land, for a purchase price of Thirty-one Thousand Seven
Hundred Dollars (E31,700.00) ; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be and he hereby is
authorized to execute all such documents as may be necessary to complete
said transaction.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins held this 20th day of December, A.D. 88.
