OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
SUPPORTING A PRIORITY LIST OF STATE HIGHWAY
IMPROVEMENTS IN THE FORT COLLINS AREA
WHEREAS, the State Department of Highways, through the various
counties of the State, has developed a process for receiving input into the
yearly update of the State' s Five-Year Highway Improvement Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of Larimer County have requested a
recommendation from the City Council regarding the City's preferred
priorities for State Highway Improvement Projects in the Fort Collins area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the "Fort Collins Area State Highway Project Prioritization
List" attached hereto be recommended to the Board of County Commissioners
of Larimer County, and to the State of Colorado Department of Highways as
the City's recommended order of priority for the projects listed thereon.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held this
7th day of August, A.D. 1990.

PROPOSED FORT COLLINS AREA STATE HIGHWAY PROJECT PRIORITIZATION LIST
A. Interstate Projects:
1 . Harmony Road and I-25 interchange improvement.
2. Prospect Street and I-25 interchange improvement.
3. Alternate North Frontage Road for I-25 north of State Highway 14.
B. Primary and Secondary Projects:
1. North Shields Street and U.S. 287 intersection improvement.
2. State Highway 1 and U.S. 287 intersection improvement.
3. State Highway 14 (Mulberry Street) and Lemay Avenue intersection
improvement
C. Bridge Replacement Projects:
1 . U.S. 287 - Poudre River Bridge - Bridge Replacement
