OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO GRANT AN EASEMENT TO
THE CITY OF LOVELAND FOR UNDERGROUND ELECTRIC LINES
AT THE FORT COLLINS-LOVELAND AIRPORT
WHEREAS, the Cities of Fort Collins and Loveland own property known as
the Fort Collins-Loveland Airport; and
WHEREAS, the City of Loveland has annexed the Airport's industrial
area and currently provides electrical service to that area; and
WHEREAS, expanded use of the Airport industrial area has created a
need for additional electrical service to the west side of the Airport; and
WHEREAS, the dedication by the City of Fort Collins to the City of
Loveland of an easement for underground electric lines would allow for the
provision of low cost electrical power to the west side of the Airport
which is needed to attract development to the Airport.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the Mayor be, and he hereby is, authorized to grant an
easement to the City of Loveland for the installation of underground power
lines to be used to supply electric service to the west side of the Fort
Collins-Loveland Airport.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins held this 19th day of July, A.D. 91.
