OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROVING THE POUDRE FIRE AUTHORITY STRATEGIC PLAN
FOR THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
WHEREAS, the Poudre Fire Authority provides fire protection and
emergency services to the City of Fort Collins; and
WHEREAS, the Poudre Fire Authority has developed a Strategic Plan
which has been approved by the Poudre Fire Authority Board of Directors and
the Board of Directors has recommended approval of that Strategic Plan by
the City of Fort Collins; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the strategic plan; and
WHEREAS , the Strategic Plan represents a progressive and
cost-effective management system; and
WHEREAS, the Strategic Plan does not create any rights or duties but
rather sets out a vision of future community needs and recommends efficient
and effective means to meet those needs which will be implemented as
revenue conditions allow.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the Poudre Fire Authority Strategic Plan, as the system for
Fire Protection and Emergency Services for the City of Fort Collins, be,
and the same hereby is, approved.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held this
19th day of July, A.D. 1988.
