HomeMy WebLinkAbout1988-112-07/19/1988-AGREEMENT ENLARGING HALLIGAN RESERVOIR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES STUDY WOODWARD CLYDE CONSULTANTS RESOLUTION 88- 112 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASING AGENT TO ENTER INTO A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH WOODWARD-CLYDE CONSULTANTS FOR A STUDY TO DETERMINE THE FEASIBILITY OF ENLARGING HALLIGAN RESERVOIR WHEREAS, in April of 1988, the City issued a request for proposals for a study on the feasibility of enlarging Halligan Reservoir; and WHEREAS, the selection committee interviewed three of the ten firms submitting proposals and selected Woodward-Clyde Engineering Consultants as the most qualified firm; and WHEREAS, the total cost for the study is not to exceed One Hundred Eleven Thousand Dollars ($111,000) ; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 8-129 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins, no professional services agreement in excess of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000) shall be entered into until approved by the City Council in an open Council meeting; and WHEREAS, funds for the study are budgeted and available in the Water Fund. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS that the Purchasing Agent be, and he hereby is, authorized to enter into a professional services agreement with Woodward-Clyde Consultants for a study to determine the feasibility of enlarging Halligan Reservoir, at a cost not to exceed One Hundred Eleven Thousand Dollars ($111,000) .
