OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT
WITH BURLINGTON NORTHERN RAILROAD COMPANY
FOR THE INSTALLATION OF A
RAILROAD CROSSING SIGNAL ON TIMBERLINE ROAD
WHEREAS, Burlington Northern Railroad Company has tendered to the City
of Fort Collins an agreement concerning the installation of automatic
flashing light crossing signals and gates at Timberline Road, M.P. 77.49,
in Fort Collins, Colorado; and
WHEREAS, it is considered that the best interests of the City will be
subserved by the execution of said agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the Mayor be, and he hereby is, authorized to execute the
agreement with Burlington Northern Railroad Company on behalf of the City,
for the installation of a railroad crossing signal on Timberline Road at
the Burlington Northern Railroad crossing.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins held this 5th day of July, A.D. 1988.
