OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO
A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH RBD, INC.
FOR THE DESIGN OF THE SUMMIT VIEW DRIVE BRIDGE
WHEREAS, the 1987 Budget for the City of Fort Collins includes Six
Hundred Sixty Thousand Two Hundred Thirty-four Dollars ($660,234.) for the
design, right-of-way acquisition and reconstruction of the Summit View
Drive Bridge; and
WHEREAS, in compliance with the Capital Project Management Control
System, Requests for Proposal/Qualifications (P-195) were released to
solicit consultants for the engineering services required for the design of
said project; and
WHEREAS, the consultant selection committee reviewed the proposals and
interviewed the top three firms and selected RBD, Inc. as the best
qualified firm for this project; and
WHEREAS, staff has negotiated a time and reimbursable direct cost
agreement with RBD, Inc. for a sum not to exceed Twenty-Five Thousand
Dollars ($25,000. ) ; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2-66 of the Code of the City of Fort
Collins, no professional services agreement in excess of Twenty Thousand
Dollars ($20,000) shall be entered into until approved by the City Council
in an open Council meeting.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS, that the City Manager be, and he hereby is, authorized to enter
into a Professional Services Agreement with RBD, Inc. for the design of the
Summit View Drive Bridge for a sum not to exceed Twenty-Five Thousand
Dollars ($25,000.) .
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held this
7th day of July, A.D. 1987.
