OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED FOR CERTAIN
LOTS IN FOOTHILLS PARK RESUBDIVISION
WHEREAS, because of a certain deed purporting to convey lots to the
City of Fort Collins in Foothills Park Resubdivision, there exists a cloud
on the title of said lots, as hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of said deed has now been satisfied by the
payment to the City of the sum of $54,378 by the developer and owner of
said lots; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins does hereby determine
that it is in the best interests of the City that the question of title to
said lots be resolved, in order that said lots may be sold and developed;
and
WHEREAS, the Council does further find that said lots are not used,
intended to be used, or secured for the purpose of being used for municipal
purposes, and that it is in the best interests of the City that any
interest the City may possess in said lots be conveyed, by quitclaim deed,
to the First Federal Savings Bank of Colorado.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the Mayor be and he hereby is authorized to execute a
quitclaim deed conveying to the First Federal Savings Bank of Colorado such
interest as the City may have in the following described property in the
City of Fort Collins, County of Larimer, State of Colorado, to wit:
Lots 1 through 10, Block 1 ; Lot 23, Block 2; and Lots 13, 14 and
15, Block 5; all in Foothills Park Resubdivision, in the City of
Fort Collins, County of Larimer, State of Colorado.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins held this 7th day of July, A.D. 1987.
