*See Performance Hall Rehearsal Policy, Section 2
Section 2. That the following Performance Hall rehearsal policy is
hereby adopted, effective 1/1/89: the Lincoln Center management reserves
the right to preempt rehearsal reservations on Friday and Saturday nights
under the following conditions:
1. A promoter wishes to book the Hall and pay the commercial rate ($640)
plus percentage of gross.
2. The Lincoln Center needs those nights to book a Showstopper, Dance, or
"special " event.
3. A community user wishes to book the Hall and pay the community rate
($610) . In this case, however, the original user (booking the
rehearsal ) will be contacted to find out whether it wishes to move the
rehearsal or pay the full Hall rental of $610. If the original user
wants to retain the rehearsal in the Performance Hall and pay the $610,
the community user will be refused the space.
If three weeks (21 days) prior to the rehearsal date none of the three
above options have taken place, the rehearsal will not be moved.
Conversely, if user wishes to cancel a rehearsal , it must do so three
weeks prior to the rehearsal date or pay the full community performance
rental amount ($610) .
Section 3. That ticket prices for the Lincoln Center Showstopper
Series, Dance Series, Children's Series, and Travel Series shall be based
on two criteria: cost of production, and regional and national marketing
and pricing trends.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held this
4th day of October, A.D. 1988.
