HomeMy WebLinkAbout1988-161-10/04/1988-CITY PARK NINE COLLINDALE FEES GOLF COURSES RESOLUTION 88- 161 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS ESTABLISHING AND REVISING FEES TO BE CHARGED AT CITY PARK NINE AND COLLINDALE GOLF COURSES BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS that the following fees and charges schedule shall be in effect for City Park Nine and Collindale Golf Courses, effective January 1, 1989: CITY OF FORT COLLINS PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT GOLF DIVISION 1989 FEES AND CHARGES SCHEDULE Daily Green Fees 9-Hole Rate $ 6.50 18-Hole Rate $11 .00 Note: Ten percent of each green fee rate is applied to the Surcharge Reserve. Annual Passes (One pass/both courses) Single Adult $315 Junior (age 18 and under) $155 Student (age 24 and under) $235 Senior Citizen (age 62 and over) $235 Senior Citizen Spouse $235 Family Rates First Adult $315 Second Adult/Spouse $235 First Child (age 18 and under) $ 75 Second Child or More $ 75 Maximum Family Charge $700 Notes: 1 . All annual passes will be paid by March 1 of each year, with the 1989 annual pass good until February 28, 1990. 2. Ten percent of each annual pass rate will be placed into the Surcharge Reserve. 3. "Half-Season" annual passes shall be available for sale, to be effective August 15, at one-half the cost of the regular annual rate. 4. Annual passes are limited only to those users having a Fort Collins address, except those non-residents continuing to hold a pass which was originally purchased prior to March 4, 1981, when this policy was established by City Council . 5. Administrative Golf staff is hereby authorized to reduce the cost of any annual pass up to 50% for special circumstances such as proven low income from a verifiable source, medical conditions, relocation, etc. if such action is warranted. 6. If financial circumstances warrant, Administrative Golf staff is hereby authorized to allow customers to enter into a "Golf Annual Pass Installment Payment Agreement. A $5-per-$100 installment service fee will be added to the cost of the pass, and there will be no more than four installment payments allowed per customer. Surcharge Reserve Ten percent of each green fee and annual pass rate is applied to a surcharge reserve. Surcharge reserve funds can be used for any golf purpose, as appropriated and approved by City Council . The primary utilization of surcharge funds should be for capital outlay purchases and equipment replacement purposes only. Senior citizens, age 62 and over, receive a special discount rate during "non-peak" hours only, as posted. 2. Administrative Golf staff may provide discounted fees for appropriate proven special circumstances, such as physical/medical handicap or limitation, etc. generally associated with low income, if such action is warranted. 3. If the sales tax rate changes during the year, the total fee will remain the same and the additional sales tax will be paid out of the fee. Privately-Owned Golf Cars (used, not stored, both courses)* Season $175 Daily $ 9 * A signed consent form and proof of insurance are also required. Golf Service Fees Collindale Club Service $15 Collindale Locker Rental $25 Tournament Service Fee (private and commercial events) $2 per player Clubhouse Rentals Standard Clubhouse Rental** $30 Rental of Chairs Only $10 Rental of Tables Only $10 Rental of Tables and Chairs $15 ** A returnable $15 clean-up deposit fee will be required for renters of the clubhouses, and will not be returned if the premises are not thoroughly cleaned. All fees and charges take effect January 1, 1989 and those customers purchasing these 1989 services prior to that date will pay the 1989 rates.
