OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PURCHASING AND RISK
MANAGEMENT TO ENTER INTO A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT
WITH RBD ENGINEERING CONSULTANTS FOR THE
DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING OF
THE NORTH COLLEGE WATER LINE
WHEREAS, the North College Avenue water line has been in existence for
over forty years and is in need of replacement; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City of Fort Collins that
said water line be replaced prior to the paving overlay of North College
Avenue scheduled to be performed by the State Highway Department in the
spring of 1989; and
WHEREAS, the City has requested proposals for the design and
construction engineering of the North College Avenue water line; and
WHEREAS, upon analysis of the proposals, it has been determined that
RBD Engineering Consultants should be engaged to perform said work.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the Director of Purchasing and Risk Management be, and he
hereby is, authorized to enter into a professional services agreement with
RBD Engineering Consultants for the design and construction engineering of
the North College Avenue water line, for a total cost not to exceed
Sixty-one Thousand Four Hundred Eighty-five Dollars ($61,485) .
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins held this 4th day of October, A.D.119�8.
