HomeMy WebLinkAbout1988-138-09/06/1988-CONSTRUCTION FANCH CABLEVISION REVOCABLE PERMIT TELEVISION LINES RESOLUTION 88-138 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A REVOCABLE PERMIT TO FANCH CABLEVISION OF COLORADO FOR CONSTRUCTION IN THE PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY OF CABLE TELEVISION LINES AND APPURTENANCES WHEREAS , Fanch Cablevision of Colorado , a Colorado Limited Partnership, doing business as KIVA Cable, has requested permission from the City to cross and use certain City rights-of-way and utility easements for the installation of a cable television line and related appurtenances; and WHEREAS, said cable television route would follow Overland Trail , Drake Road and Taft Hill Road, as more particularly described in the revocable permit; and WHEREAS, all of the affected utility companies have reviewed the proposal and have no objections to the proposed improvements; and WHEREAS, Article XI, Section 10, of the Charter of the City of Fort Collins authorizes the Council to grant a revocable permit at any time for the temporary use or occupation of any street, alley or public place. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS that the Mayor be, and he hereby is, authorized to execute a revocable permit with Fanch Cablevision of Colorado, which permit would allow the installation of cable television lines and related appurtenances in street and utility rights-of-way generally following Overland Trail , Drake Road and Taft Hill Road, as more particularly shown on the map attached to the revocable permit, upon payment of the fees and compliance with the conditions as provided in said permit.
