OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE
AN AGREEMENT WITH THE UNION PACIFIC LAND
RESOURCES CORPORATION TO ALLOW OPERATION AND
MAINTENANCE OF AN OVERHEAD POWERLINE
WHEREAS, the Union Pacific Land Resources Corporation ("UPLRC") has
tendered to the City of Fort Collins an agreement regarding certain
premises situated in Section 2, Township 7 North, Range 69 West of the 6th
P.M. , in the County of Larimer, State of Colorado, south and west of 200
Hickory Street for the purpose of continuing to maintain and operate a
13,200 volt overhead power wire line on, along and across said premises,
said agreement being identified in the records of the UPLRC as UIC Law
Department Document No. 1-2336-1 ; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the citizens of the City of
Fort Collins that this agreement be executed so that operation and
maintenance of the power line may continue without interruption; and
WHEREAS, monies are budgeted and available to pay the one-time
licensing fee of Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($250. ) as provided in the
agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the Mayor be, and he hereby is, authorized to execute an
agreement with the Union Pacific Land Resources Corporation for the purpose
of securing a five-year license to maintain and operate a 13,200 volt
overhead power wire line on, along and across land owned by the UPLRC
located south and west of 200 Hickory Street in the City of Fort Collins.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held this
2nd day of September, A.D. 1986.
