OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH ENGINEERING
PROFESSIONALS FOR FOOTHILLS PRESSURE ZONE WATER LINE
IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, in January of 1987 the City issued a request for proposals
for design and construction services for water line improvements in the
Foothills Pressure Zone in the western section of the City; and
WHEREAS, the selection committee interviewed three of the seventeen
firms who submitted proposals and selected Engineering Professionals as the
most qualified firm; and
WHEREAS, total cost for the design, bidding, and construction services
for the project are not to exceed Forty-Six Thousand Dollars ($46,000. ) ;
and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2-66 of the code of the City of Fort
Collins, no professional services agreement in excess of Twenty-Thousand
Dollars ($20,000. ) shall be entered into until approved by the City Council
in an open Council meeting; and
WHEREAS, monies for the project are budgeted and available in the
Water Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the City Manager be, and he hereby is, authorized to enter
into a professional services agreement with Engineering Professionals for
the design and construction services for the Foothills Pressure Zone Water
Line Improvements at a cost not to exceed Forty-Six Thousand Dollars
($46,000. ) .
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held this
21st day of April , A.D. 1987.
