OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO APPLY TO THE
NORTHERN COLORADO WATER CONSERVANCY DISTRICT
FOR CANCELLATION OF TEMPORARY USE PERMITS
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins holds 2,814 acre-foot units of CBT
water under Temporary Use Permits with the Northern Colorado Water
Conservancy District (NCWCD) ; and
WHEREAS, the NCWCD requires that all water held under Temporary Use
Permits be converted to a permanent Class B Contract every several years;
and
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins desires to convert the 2,814
acre-foot units of CBT water to use under a permanent allotment contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the Mayor be authorized to apply to the NCWCD for cancellation
of the Temporary Use Permits for the 2,814 acre-foot units of CBT water.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins held this 15th day of December, A.D. 98-7
