OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
MAKING APPOINTMENTS TO THE
ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY ADVISORY COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, protecting and enhancing the economic health of the community
is a priority of the City Council of Fort Collins; and
WHEREAS, on March 17, 1987 the Council adopted Resolution 87-49,
adopting the goals and policies related to economic development and
opportunities in the City; and
WHEREAS, on April 21, 1987 the Council adopted Ordinance 52, 1987,
appropriating money for the Economic Opportunities Program; and
WHEREAS, the Council has authorized the City Manager to enter into a
contract with the Fort Collins Foundation for the administration of the
Economic Opportunities Account; and
WHEREAS, the Fort Collins Foundation will administer the Economic
Opportunity Funds in a manner which is consistent with the goal of the
City's Economic Development and Opportunities Program; and
WHEREAS, on September 1, 1987 Council adopted Resolution 87-125,
creating an Economic Opportunity Advisory Committee to _represent the
business community, service providers and unemployed/underemployed citizens
as an advisory group to the Fort Collins Foundation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the following named persons be, and hereby are, appointed to
the Economic Opportunity Advisory Committee:
James Cole Art Bavoso
Myra Powers Jim Aldrich
Barbara Liebler Catherine McC000in
Jo-an Barnett Marilyn Barnes
Christina Casterena
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held this
17th day of November, A.D. 1987.
