HomeMy WebLinkAbout1987-144-10/06/1987-LINCOLN CENTER PROGRAM CRITERIA RATE SCHEDULE RESOLUTION 87-144 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS ADOPTING A RATE SCHEDULE FOR THE USE OF LINCOLN CENTER FACILITIES AND SETTING THE CRITERIA FOR PERFORMING ARTS PROGRAMS BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS as follows: Section 1 . That the following rate schedule shall be in effect for the utilization of all Lincoln Center facilities, commencing January 1, 1988. PERFORMANCE HALL Event Rate $ 625.00 Additional Performance on same day 405.00 Organizations using Lincoln Center Performance Hall for the conduct of a commercial enterprise shall pay 5% of gross monies received with a ceiling of: 1 Performance - $1100 - ceiling includes rent plus percentage 2 Performance - 1800 - ceiling includes rent plus percentage During the period of June 1 through August 31, the Lincoln Center waives the 5% charge on gross box office receipts for commercial concerts. Box Office Ticket Printing Performance Hall .08/ticket Mini-Theatre .05/ticket Visa and MasterCard Phone Order Handling Charge .50/each Lobby Concessions (of gross sales) 5% *See Performance Hall Rehearsal Policy, see section 2 Section 2. That the Performance Hall Rehearsal Policy shall be as follows: The Lincoln Center management reserves the right to preempt rehearsal reservations on Friday and Saturday nights under the following conditions: 1) A promoter wishes to book the Hall and pay the commercial rate ($625) plus percentage of gross. 2) The Lincoln Center would need those nights to book a Showstopper, Dance, or "special" event. 3) A community user wishes to book the Hall and pay the community rate ($580) . In this case, however, the original user (booking the rehearsal ) will be contacted to find out whether they wish to move the rehearsal or pay the full Hall rental of $580. If the original user wants to retain the rehearsal in the Performance Hall and pay the $580, the community user will be refused the space. If three weeks (21 days) prior to the rehearsal date none of the three above options have taken place, the rehearsal will not be moved. Conversely, if user wishes to cancel a rehearsal they must do so three weeks prior to the rehearsal date or pay the full community performance rental amount ($580) . Section 3. That the ticket prices for the Lincoln Center Showstopper Series, Dance Series, Children's Series, and the Travel Series are based on two criteria: cost of production, and regional and national marketing and pricing trends.
