OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO
AN AGREEMENT FOR THE PURCHASE OF PROPERTY
FOR A WATER STORAGE TANK
WHEREAS, in order to provide improved water pressure to customers on
the west side of the City, the Council of the City of Fort Collins has e made
determined that it is in the City's best interest that a purchase b
of approximately 6. 7 acres from K. Thomas McCauley for a total purchase
price of Thirty-two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($32,500) fo water storage tank site. r use as a
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
that the City Manager be, and he hereby is, authorized to enter into an
agreement for the purchase of approximately 6.7 acres of land from K.
Thomas McCauley for a purchase price not to exceed Thirty-two Thousand Five
Hundred Dollars ($32,500) , plus customary closing costs, for a water
storage tank site; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be, and he hereby is,
authorized to execute such documents as are necessary to accomplish said
conveyance.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins held this 19th day of January, A.D. 1988.
