HomeMy WebLinkAbout1988-120-08/02/1988-1988 CONCRETE IMPROVEMENT CHANGE ORDER PROGRAM RESOLUTION 88- 120 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASING AGENT TO EXECUTE A CHANGE ORDER FOR THE 1988 CONCRETE IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM WHEREAS, the City of Fart Collins and Rives Enterprises, Inc. have entered into a contract to construct the improvements associated with the City's 1988 Concrete Improvement Program; and WHEREAS, the property owners desiring to participate in the 1988 Concrete Improvement Program have entered into agreements with the City and have paid their appropriate share of the costs; and WHEREAS, these payments by the participating property owners have established the actual contract amount for the 1988 Concrete Improvement Program, and this actual contract amount exceeds the original contract amount by $77,568; and WHEREAS, the City's Capital Projects Procedures Manual requires that change orders in excess of $50,000 be approved by the City Council . NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS that a contract amount for the 1988 Concrete Improvement Program should be increased by Seventy-Seven Thousand Five Hundred Sixty-Eight Dollars ($77,568) to provide for the construction, repair and replacement of concrete sidewalks, curb and gutter in conjunction with that program, and the Council hereby authorizes the Purchasing Agent to execute a change order for the contractor, Rives Enterprises, Inc. , for such amount.
