OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
IN SUPPORT OF THE LARIMER-WELD REGIONAL COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS
FOR THE YEAR 1987
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins, Colorado, by and through its City
Council has elected to become a member of the Larimer-Weld Regional Council
of Governments; and
WHEREAS, the Larimer-Weld Regional Council of Governments manages
programs involved in water quality, regional transportation planning, small
town technical services and grant development assistance, circuit rider
town managers, commuter pool rideshare programs, various lobbying efforts,
and facilitation of discussion and solutions to regional issues; and
WHEREAS, the members of the Larimer-Weld Regional Council of
Governments directly and indirectly benefit from these services; and
WHEREAS, the Larimer-Weld Regional Council of Governments is reviewing
its overall organization and work program in order to achieve the highest
degree of efficiency and benefit to the members.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the City of Fort Collins supports the efforts of the
Larimer-Weld Regional Council of Governments for the year 1987.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Fort Col'iins held this 17th day of February, A.D. 1987.
