OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS ADOPTING
A TRANSIT DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
FOR THE PERIOD 1991-1995
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Urban Mass Transportation Act of 1964, as
amended, the City of Fort Collins is required to adopt a comprehensive
program for the development and extension of mass transit programs; and
WHEREAS, in compliance with the Urban Mass Transportation Act of 1964,
as amended, the City has prepared a Transit Development Program for the
period 1991 through 1995; and
WHEREAS, in order to remain eligible to receive federal funding
assistance, the City is required to prepare a major update its Transit
Development Program every five years; and
WHEREAS, it is intended that this document serve as a planning
document and, as such, should be considered as being conceptual and may be
amended as conditions change; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins has determined this
plan best addresses the transportation needs and concerns of the City of
Fort Collins.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the City of Fort Collins, Transit Development Program for
1991-1995 prepared by TDA Colorado Inc. and dated February 26, 1990 be, and
hereby is, adopted.
Passed and adopted at a special meeting of the City Council held this
13th day of March, 1990.
