OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FOR COLLINS
AMENDING THE LAND USE POLICIES PLAN
AND THE GOALS AND OBJECTIVES
DOCUMENT OF THE CITY'S
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN WITH
REGARD TO PARKS AND RECREATION
FACILITIES AND SERVICES
WHEREAS, on February 2, 1988, the City Council adopted the Parks and
Recreation Master Plan (the "Plan") ; and
WHEREAS, included in the Plan were several proposed modifications to
the Land Use Policies Plan and the Goals and Objectives Document of the
City's Comprehensive Plan; and
WHEREAS, the relevant provisions of law provide that any amendments to
the City' s comprehensive plan be adopted by the Planning and Zoning Board
and by the City Council ; and
WHEREAS, on February 26, 1990, the Planning and Zoning Board examined
and reviewed the proposed revision to the Goals and Objectives Document and
the Land Use Policies Plan of the City's Comprehensive Plan, as contained
in the Plan, and determined that said modifications and amendments are
desirable and in the best interest of the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the recommendation of the
Planning and Zoning Board and has determined that said modifications and
amendments as proposed in the Plan should be approved and incorporated into
the Land Use Policies Plan and the Goals and Objectives Document of the
Comprehensive Plan of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the Land Use Policies Plan and the Goals and Objectives
Document of the Comprehensive Plan of the City be, and the same hereby are,
amended in accordance with the proposals as contained in the Parks and
Recreation Master Plan dated February, 1988.
Passed and adopted at a special meeting of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins held this 13th day of March, A.D,. 1990.
