OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
INTO AN AGREEMENT EXTENDING A
LEASE BETWEEN CHARLES BISHOPP, AS
TRUSTEE FOR THE CITIES OF FORT
COLLINS AND GREELEY, AND JESSE C.
GREER AND VIRLON G. PARKER
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins and the City of Greeley are the
owners of certain real property known as the Rockwell Ranch; and
WHEREAS, said Rockwell Ranch has been leased to Jesse C. Greer and
Virlon G. Parker for the last eighteen years; and
WHEREAS, it is desirable to extend the existing lease for an
additional one-year term, with subsequent automatic extension each year for
two additional years, and the present lessees have offered to continue the
lease arrangement for such additional term upon substantially the same
terms and conditions as contained in the original lease, as previously
extended; and
WHEREAS, in the opinion of the Council of the City of Fort Collins, it
is to the best advantage of the City to extend the existing lease for an
additional one-year period with subsequent automatic extension, if desired.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the City hereby approves the extension of the present lease of
the Rockwell Ranch with the same terms and conditions as contained in the
existing lease as previously extended; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be, and he hereby is,
authorized and directed to execute an agreement to extend said lease for
and on behalf of the City of Fort Collins.
Passed and adopted at a special meeting of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins held this 13th day of March, 1990.
