OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
CREATING A WATER DEMAND MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE
AND APPOINTING COMMITTEE MEMBERS
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins has determined that
it is in the best interest of the City that a committee composed of members
of the City Council and members of the Water Board be created for the
purpose of reviewing the current policies and practices of the City
regarding water demand management; and
WHEREAS, the Council has further determined that said committee should
be composed of three Councilmembers and three Water Board members, with the
Councilmembers to be selected by the City Council and the Water Board
members to be selected by the Water Board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS as follows:
Section 1 . That there be and hereby is created a Water Demand
Management Committee, which Committee shall review the current policies and
practices of the City regarding water demand management and shall make
recommendations regarding any suggested changes to the City's current
policies and practices regarding water demand management; and which
Committee shall be composed of three Councilmembers to be selected by the
City Council and three Water Board members to be selected by the Water
Board; and which Committee shall continue in existence until its review has
been completed and its recommendations, if any, have been made.
Section 2. That Councilmembers Dave Edwards, Susan Kirkpatrick, and
Bob Winokur are hereby appointed to serve on said Water Demand Management
Committee.
Section 3. That the Water Board is hereby directed to appoint three
of its members to serve on the Water Demand Management Committee on or
before March 31 , 1990.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the, Council of the City of
Fort Collins held this 20th day of February, 1990.
