OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN
INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH LARIMER COUNTY
FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING LIBRARY SERVICES
TO RESIDENTS OF LARIMER COUNTY
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins has traditionally provided general
library services and library outreach services to the residents of Larimer
County; and
WHEREAS, library services provided directly by the County would not be
cost-effective or further a spirit of cooperation, and the City is able to
provide such services on a cost-effective basis; and
WHEREAS, the County wishes the Fort Collins Public Library to continue
providing these services in 1990 and to that end has agreed to contribute
One Hundred One Thousand, Eight Hundred and Three Dollars ($101,803.00) to
the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the Mayor be, and he hereby is, authorized to enter into an
intergovernmental agreement with Larimer County for the provision of
general library services and library outreach services to the residents of
Larimer County through the Fort Collins Public Library for 1990, for which
services the City will be paid the sum of One Hundred One Thousand, Eight
Hundred and Three Dollars ($101,803.00) .
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins held this 6th day of February,
