OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
ESTABLISHING AND REVISING FEES TO BE CHARGED
FOR RECREATION DIVISION PROGRAMS
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 23-114 of the Cade of the City of Fort Collins,
the City Council is authorized to lease interests in real property owned in the
name of the City, provided Council first finds, by resolution, that the lease is
in the best interest of the City; and
WHEREAS, the following rate schedule for the lease of recreation facilities
will generate revenue to help offset the cost of owning and operating the
recreation facilities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
as follows:
Section 1. That the City Council finds that the lease of the City's
recreation facilities, on the terms and conditions described in Section 2 below,
is in the best interests of the City and hereby authorizes the lease of these
facilities.
Section 2. That the following rate schedule shall be in effect for the
lease of the recreation facilities, commencing January 1, 1994:

SWIMMING POOLS:
Community Rate-- All Pools
25-yd/25-meter 6.50/lane hr.
50-meter (EPIC) 9.00/lane hr.
Other Pool Areas 25.00/hr/section up to $750.00/day
F.A.S.T./Affiliated Rates
25 yard/25 meter-- Prime Time 3.35/lane hr.
Non-Prime Time 2.95/lane hr.
50 meter-- Prime Time 7.30/lane hr.
Non-Prime Time 6.40/lane hr.
Commercial Rate-- All Pools Negotiated rate/person + direct costs
ICE ARENA AT EPIC:
Prime Time 90.00/hr.
Non-prime Time 80.00/hr.
Late Night 70.00/hr.
Quantity Discount (above 40 hr/mo.) -10.00/hr.
GYMNASIUM RENTAL AT NORTHSIDE AZTLAN COMMUNITY CENTER:
Community 17.00/court hr.
Commercial 35.00/court hr.
Quantity Discount (above 3 uses/mo.) -10%
MEETING ROOMS-- ALL FACILITIES:
Community 20.00/hr.
Commercial 30.00/hr.

Section 3. That fees and charges for recreation programs shall be based on
two criteria: (a) the direct costs associated with the programs; and (b) local
and regional marketing and pricing trends.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held this 16th
day of November, A.D. 1993.
