OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING APPLICATION TO NORTHERN COLORADO WATER
CONSERVANCY DISTRICT FOR CANCELLATION
OF TEMPORARY USE PERMIT
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins holds 25 acre-foot units of Colorado-Big
Thompson (CBT) Project water under a Temporary Use Permit with the Northern
Colorado Water Conservancy District (NCWCD) ; and
WHEREAS, the NCWCD requires that every few years all water held under
Temporary Use Permits be converted to a perpetual contract; and
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins desires to convert the 25 acre-foot units
of CBT water to use under a perpetual allotment contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
that the Mayor be and is hereby authorized to apply to the NCWCD for cancellation
of the Temporary Use Permit for the Twenty-five (25) acre-foot units of CBT water
in order for the City to convert such water to use under a perpetual allotment
contract with the NCWCD.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council f the City Fort
Collins held this 6th day of December, A.D. 1994.
